I have only had the opportunity to visit China one time and I was lucky enough to get to goto Guilin and Yangshou. From the amazing views of the Li Jiang River to the Dragon Rice Terraces, this part of China is simply breathtaking!
China has one of the world's oldest civilizations. It has archaeological evidence dating back over 5,000 years. China was one of the largest and most advanced civilizations for most of the last two millenia.
On things for certain: there is nothing like the beauty of this spot...There is a reason the natural scenery of this part of China is pictured on it's currency!
